Balkan Telekom, provides any kind of data transfer, closed circuit phone & fax service over satellite by means of VSAT / Corporate satellite network solutions. Since the satellite communication infrastructure can be easily set up in regions geographically different from each other, uninterrupted service is provided to wide geographical regions.
Corporate Network solution enables establishing to set up point to point, or point to multipoint connections and fully meshed structure over satellite. Every single point can communicate with the others directly in mesh structure (single hop).
Satellite equipment, which has been tailored by the customer requirements, can work either TDMA or SCPC mode. SCPC is preferred for the star topology and for networks, which have few remotes, while TDMA is preferred for the mesh topology and for networks, which are formed, by many remote locations. The satellite connection speed can be in the range of 64 Kbps - 30 Mbits.
Many kinds of applications such as VoIP, SAP and Videoconference can be run by the VSAT system.
High quality, real time video or voice transfer can be provided over satellite between two or multiple points. Thus, even if people are at different locations, they can conduct a meeting together as if they were in the same place, they can share their presentations and opinions with image and sound.
